Star Inc. is the pseudonym of Dutch studio musician and producer Eduward "Ed" Starink (born December 17, 1952 in Apeldoorn, Netherlands). Ed Starink founded his studio "Star Inc." in 1982 and launched the label of the same name in 1986. Musically, the musician moves in the areas of electronic music, synth-pop, easy listening and delivers instrumental cover versions of film and TV music as well as classical pieces. Star Inc. released numerous albums from the end of the 1980s, including the successful Synthesizer Greatest series. The album Synthesizer Greatest (1989) reached number 8 in the charts in Germany, number 4 in Switzerland and number 22 in the UK. Other titles include Synthesizer Greatest Volume 2 (1990), Volume 3 and Volume 5 - The Final Episode (1990) - which charted several times in Europe. Other albums released: The Eve Of The War - 16 Spectacular Synthesizer Hits (1989), Music From Outer Space (1990, 4-CD compilation), Best Of Synthesizer (1995) and Modern Synthesizer Hits (1996).
