Song Ha-young, known professionally as Hayoung, is a South Korean singer, lyricist, and dancer. Born on September 29, 1997, in Gwangju, South Korea, she rose to fame as a member of the girl group fromis_9. Song began her career in the entertainment industry as a contestant on the reality survival show Idol School in 2017, where she finished in second place, securing her place as a member of fromis_9. The group debuted on January 24, 2018, with their mini-album To. Heart under Off The Record Entertainment. Over the years, Song has showcased her skills not only as a performer but also as a lyricist, contributing to several of the group's songs. In addition to her activities with fromis_9, she has released digital singles like "My Sweden Laundry #2" (2022) and "Step By Together: With U" (2024). Her versatility also extends to OSTs, with notable tracks such as "Fall in Love" (2018) and "Come Closer Like Spring" (2024), a collaboration with fellow member Lee Nagyung. In 2025, Song signed with the new agency ASND, marking a new chapter in her career. She released a song "I have a cat" for the TV show, Kim Seong-geun's Winter Vacation.
