Sister Double Happiness was an American alternative blues rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1986. The group consisted of Gary Floyd, Lynn Perko, and Ben Cohen, who were previously members of punk rock bands The Dicks and Pop-O-Pies. Their debut album, Sister Double Happiness, was released on SST Records in 1988. In the following years, Sister Double Happiness released the albums Heart and Mind (1991), Uncut (1993), and Horsey Water (1994), as well as the maxi-single Hey Kids (1992). The band disbanded in 1995. Following the breakup, Floyd formed Black Kali Ma and later recorded solo material as a country musician. Perko joined Imperial Teen in 1996. Cohen recorded and performed under the name Benjamin Cohen.
