Biography

Simone Pedroni, born in 1968 in Novara, Italy, is an Italian pianist and conductor. He graduated from Milan's Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in 1990 and received his master's degree at Accademia Pianistica "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola, Italy, in 1995, studying under Lazar Berman, Franco Scala, and Piero Rattalino. Pedroni's breakthrough came with the gold medal at the Ninth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 1993. His notable album releases include Bach's Goldberg Variations (2001) and John Williams' Reimagined (2024).
