Biography

Siddharth Vipin, born on November 7, 1985, in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India, is a composer known for his work in film scores and soundtracks. He completed his schooling in Muscat, Oman, and earned a B.Com degree from Loyola College, Chennai. Siddharth began his career as a sound engineer, working with the Delhi-based rock band Euphoria and contributing sound effects to Indian versions of Hollywood films. His breakthrough came with the Malayalam war film Kurukshetra (2008), where he composed the soundtrack, receiving positive reviews. In Tamil cinema, Siddharth debuted with Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012). He gained significant recognition for his work on Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013), which included the popular song "Enge Ponaalum" and earned him the Edison Award for Best New Music Director. Siddharth also composed soundtracks for films like Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (2014) and Bhramma.com (2017).
