Biography

Shinae An Wheeler, born 30â¯Julyâ¯1986 in Seongnam, South Korea, is a Korean singerâsongwriter who debuted in 2014 with the EP Barberettes No.1 as member and leader of the Korean retro girl group, the Barberettes. She released the single âBarberettes Carol: Warm Christmasâ (2014) and the album Be My Baby (2015). In 2016 she issued Time 2 Love and Love Shoes (feat. Stuart Zender), and appeared on MBC's Mistery Music Show: Masked Singer and TVN's Born to Sing. She followed with the studio albums Dear LIFE (2025) and Best Before (2026). Soundtrack contributions for Doctor Cha and Tastefully Yours (2025) charted and earned her nominations for the Korean Music Awards. Her April 2026 EP Best Before entered Bugs' Top 100 K-hip hop albums chart at rank 44 on its release week.
