Biography

Shin Aoyama, born May 30 2000 in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, was a Japanese enka singer who began singing under the influence of his grandmother. After attracting attention at a karaoke competition in junior high, he was scouted and studied composition under Hideo Mizumori for more than five years. Aoyama debuted on February 5 2020 with the single "Shikatanainosa" through Teichiku Entertainment, which entered the Oricon Enka & Kayō weekly singles chart at number sixteen. His first album Kirisame no yoru wa fukeru was released February 3 2021, followed by the Ameagari edition in July. Subsequent releases included "Kimi to Dokomademo" (February 2 2022), "Onna no Hajimari" (February 8 2023), and the forthcoming Migattena Onna (February 19 2025). Aoyama held his first solo concert in May 2022 and a five‑anniversary concert in April 2024. In June 2025, he was appointed tourism ambassador for Shimabira Village, Miyazaki Prefecture. His 7th single, "Juusankagetsu", was released on February 18 2026.
