Shin Aoyama, born Mayâ¯30â¯2000 in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, was a Japanese enka singer who began singing under the influence of his grandmother. After attracting attention at a karaoke competition in junior high, he was scouted and studied composition under Hideo Mizumori for more than five years. Aoyama debuted on Februaryâ¯5â¯2020 with the single "Shikatanainosa" through Teichiku Entertainment, which entered the Oricon Enka & KayÅ weekly singles chart at number sixteen. His first album Kirisame no yoru wa fukeru was released Februaryâ¯3â¯2021, followed by the Ameagari edition in July. Subsequent releases included "Kimi to Dokomademo" (Februaryâ¯2â¯2022), "Onna no Hajimari" (Februaryâ¯8â¯2023), and the forthcoming Migattena Onna (Februaryâ¯19â¯2025). Aoyama held his first solo concert in Mayâ¯2022 and a fiveâanniversary concert in Aprilâ¯2024. In Juneâ¯2025, he was appointed tourism ambassador for Shimabira Village, Miyazaki Prefecture. His 7th single, "Juusankagetsu", was released on Februaryâ¯18â¯2026.
