Scott Davie, born 1966 in Orange, New South Wales, is an Australian concert pianist. He studied at the Conservatorium High School and Sydney Conservatorium of Music, earning a PhD focusing on Sergei Rachmaninoff's melodic language. In 2003, while researching at the Library of Congress, Davie discovered a two-page sketch of an unknown Rachmaninoff piano piece. This discovery led to the recording and release of the piece on his Pictures from an Exhibition CD with ABC Classics. In 2005, he collaborated with Graeme Murphy, Janet Vernon, and the Sydney Dance Company on Grand, a full-length choreographed piano recital that toured extensively throughout Australia, Shanghai, and the US. In late November 2012, he gave the Australian premiere performances of the original version of Rachmaninoff's 4th Piano Concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Vladimir Ashkenazy at the Sydney Opera House.
