Schicke Führs Fröhling was a German progressive rock trio formed in 1975, consisting of Eduard Schicke on drums, Gerd Führs on keyboards, and Heinz Fröhling on guitar. The band's origins trace back to 1974 when the members first met while performing with other groups. Their breakthrough came with their debut album Symphonic Pictures, released in 1976 under the production of Dieter Dierks. This album sold over 12,000 copies and was followed by Sunburst in 1977, both of which were critically acclaimed. The band's third album, Ticket to Everywhere, released in 1978, marked a turning point as Eduard Schicke left due to musical differences. Führs and Fröhling then focused on their side project, Führs & Fröhling. The band's unique sound, blending jazz rock with symphonic progressive rock, influenced other artists such as ÃnglagÃ¥rd.
