Biography
Born in Genoa on March 23, 1999, to an Italian father and a Tunisian mother, rapper Adam Sayf Viacava is better known as Sayf. He grew up in Santa Margherita and began by playing the trumpet, before turning to rap. With diverse influences from reggae to metal, Sayf became interested in production and collaborated in 2017 with Vicious, then took part in the formation of the Luvre Muzik collective. After two mixtapes released in 2019 and 2020, Sono triste and Everyday Struggle, the Italian rapper gained an audience in 2025 with the Se dio vuole EP, featuring contributions from Rhove, Néza, Disme, Ele A, Kuremino, Sethu and 22simba. Rated No. 26 in the Italian charts, its main single "Figli dei palazzi" reached No. 53. In 2025, the track "Money" with Artie5ive and Guè, which reached #21, heralded the release of Sayf's first album, Santissimo. Released in May 2026, it reaches No. 1, while the following single "Tu mi piaci tanto" reaches No. 2. Other guests include Geolier, Kid Yugi, Nerissima Serpe, Bresh and Tedua.
