Biography
Sam Ruffillo is an Italian-American DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Sicily. He divides his time between New York and Bologna, in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region. Influenced by the Italo-disco style, he represents this movement on the Toy Tonics label. Following the release of the Sport House EP in 2020, he shot to fame with the Italianissimo series, directly inspired by Mediterranean disco. The series includes a five-track debut EP released in 2021, followed by remixes and a second installment released in 2022. Sam Ruffillo then released the EPs The Brooklyn Tapes (2023) and Robot Salsa (2024), in collaboration with German DJ Kapote.
