Salvador da Rima (real name Fábio Gabriel Araújo Salvador) is a Brazilian rapper and funk artist from São Pauloâs Zona Leste who started out writing and performing in local freestyle battles, later becoming strongly associated with Batalha da Aldeia and wider viral clips that introduced him beyond the battle circuit. His first major commercial step came in 2020, when he signed with GR6 and entered the São Paulo funk/rap crossover lane through high-rotation singles and posse cuts, including the collective track âVergonha pra mÃdiaâ (2020) and âIlusão (Cracolândia)â (2020) with Alok, Djay W and MCs Hariel, Davi and Ryan SP. In 2021 he followed that run with releases under his own name, including the single â19 Anosâ (2021), keeping one foot in rap storytelling and another in funk-driven production choices. After years of feature-heavy output, he moved into a more authored, album-led phase with the collaborative single âArte Como Crimeâ (2025) (with Gustavo Martins, Janderson Fundação and Magrão AllFavela), then released his debut studio album Arte Como Crime (2025), a 10-track project framed around street experience and accountability, with guest spots from names including MC Cebezinho and MC Neguinho do Kaxeta. In early 2026 he continued that momentum with âGangstarâ (2026), a joint single credited with Oruam.
