Biography

Sacha Sacket, born September 20, 1978, in Tehran, Iran, was an American pop singer-songwriter residing in Los Angeles. His first album, Alabaster Flesh, released in 2001, explored themes of masculinity. In 2004, Sacket released Shadowed, delving into darker themes and touring extensively across universities and festivals. His third album, Lovers and Leaders (2007), received positive reviews and featured regional tours with an all-female band. In 2008, he released the full-length album Sacha Sacket and the LadyKillers: Live at the Zone. The following year saw the release of the album Hermitage. In 2010, Sacket released his album Viscera, featuring collaborations with notable musicians such as Joey Waronker and Gus Seyffert. He also penned songs for and starred in the musical It Gets Better (2012), inspired by Jamey Rodemeyer's story.
