Ryoko Akiyama (born in Koto-ku, Tokyo) is a Japanese enka singer. She won many awards in "Chibikko Utagassen" and "NHK Nodo Jawon" since her childhood, and made her debut in 1988 with "Koiminato" from Apollon. Her genre of music is enka and uta-yokyoku. Representative songs include " Kaikyo Namida Yuki " (2019), " Jikketsu...Yuki no Nemuro Sen " (2020), and " Saroma no Lake " (2024). His latest single, " Fu-ring-sho" (2026), is a major key melancholy enka song about memories of encounters and partings overlaid on the tones of wind chimes. Major awards include: Chibikko Jiryoku Nihon No.1 Winner on NTV's "Kohaku Uta no Best Ten", Fuji Television's "The 1st Kohaku Chibikko Uta Gassen", and NHK's "Nodo Jiman Grand Champion Tournament".
