Takumi Ryo (born November 27, 1959 in Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese enka and song singer. After winning the grand prix at the Torus Records newcomer audition, he made his debut in 1984 with " Shima Uta, " the theme song of Kao Meijin Gekijo's "Doodle Doctor Prosperity". From 1997, she was the vocalist of "Hiroshi Uchiyamada and the Cool Five," and later returned to solo singing. His representative songs include " Shanghai Tazunejin " (2017), " Yume de Iai Kara" (2018), and " Zoigyo " (2019), and he released his latest Latin-flavored single " Monu no Hara (coupling "Tear Rain") " on July 9, 2025. Major awards include the Newcomer Audition Grand Prix for his debut and nominations for the Japan Record Awards, among others. With her dandy and emotional singing ability, she has a strong presence in the enka and uta-yoku scene.
