Biography
Rose Hill Drive, an American hard rock band from Boulder, Colorado, was formed in 2000 by brothers Jacob Sproul and Daniel Sproul along with Nathan Barnes. They released their first EP, The EP, in 2002 and gained traction through local performances. Their breakthrough came with the release of their self-titled debut album in 2006. The band's second studio album, Moon Is The New Earth, was released in 2008. In April 2007, Rolling Stone Magazine named Rose Hill Drive one of the 10 New Artists to Watch for the year. Their third studio album, Americana, was released in 2011 under their own label Slow and Shirley Records. After a hiatus, they returned with Mania in 2017. Throughout their career, Rose Hill Drive performed alongside notable acts such as Stone Temple Pilots, The Black Crowes, and Aerosmith, and appeared at major festivals including Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits.
