Rosa Feola, born May 21, 1986, in San Nicola la Strada, Italy, is an Italian opera soprano. She began piano lessons at age five and joined the San Nicola Music Academy. After graduating from the Giuseppe Martucci Conservatory of Salerno in 2008, Feola studied at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome. Her breakthrough came at age 23 with her debut as Corinna in Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims. In 2010, she won prizes at Plácido Domingoâs Operalia competition. Feola made her debut as Adina in Donizetti's Lâelisir dâamore at Teatro dellâOpera di Roma in 2011 and has frequently performed under conductor Riccardo Muti. Her debut album Musica e Poesia was released in 2015.
