Biography

Ronald James Gallo III, known as Ron Gallo, is an American singer born in 1992. He began his music career fronting various bands, including Philadelphia-based band Toy Soldiers, before embarking on a solo career in 2014 with the release of RONNY. Gallo's breakthrough came with the single "Please Yourself" from the album Heavy Meta, released in February 2017. The album was supported by national and international tours alongside acts like White Reaper and Twin Peaks. Gallo's subsequent releases include the EP Really Nice Guys (January 2018), Stardust Birthday Party (October 2018), which explored post-punk influences, and Peacemeal (March 2021). In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gallo launched REALLY NICE FEST, an ongoing digital festival featuring live streams and performances. He signed with Kill Rock Stars in September 2022 and released his latest album FOREGROUND MUSIC on March 3, 2023.
