Biography
ROF-MAO is a Japanese virtual YouTuber unit under the Nijisanji umbrella, developed and managed by ANYCOLOR Inc. Formed on October 21, 2021, the group consists of four members: Hayato Kagami, Touya Kenmochi, Minato Fuwa, and Haru Kaida. They first appeared together in a survival-themed program titled Nijisanji Mujintou, which led to the official formation of the unit. Shortly after, on December 24, 2021, their debut mini-album Crack Up!!!! was announced and released on April 13, 2022, reaching #1 on the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Chart â a first for a Nijisanji-affiliated unit. Throughout 2022 and 2023, ROF-MAO gained momentum with high-profile appearances, including live performances at Summer Voyage!! and Aim Higher, and earned a "Best 5 New Artist" award at the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards. Their first full album Overflow dropped in October 2023, followed by their first one-man live concert at Osaka-jÅ Hall in April 2024. They released their first single "DiVE !N" in July 2024 and surpassed one million YouTube subscribers by August. On March 26, 2025, they released their second mini-album MOMENTUM, continuing to solidify their position as one of the most successful virtual units in the Japanese digital music scene.
