Biography

Rockin'1000 is an Italian musical supergroup formed in 2015 by Fabio Zaffagnini. The group was initiated when Zaffagnini envisioned gathering 1,000 musicians to perform simultaneously and record a video of "Learn to Fly" by Foo Fighters. This ambitious endeavor culminated in a live performance on July 26, 2015, which went viral and caught the attention of Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters subsequently performed an intimate three-hour concert in Cesena on November 3, 2015, in the presence of all participants. Rockin'1000's first major concert took place at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi in Cesena on July 24, 2016, featuring a set of 17 rock hits and resulting in the live album That's Live - Live in Cesena 2016. The group continued to expand its reach with performances at venues such as the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence.
