Richard Francis âRikkâ Agnew Jr. is an American musician born in 1958. He achieved professional recognition as a multi-instrumentalist in the Southern California hardcore punk scene and served as the bassist for Social Distortion (1978). He joined Adolescents (1980) as a guitarist and performed on their debut studio album, Adolescents (1981). Agnew joined the ensemble Christian Death to record the studio recording Only Theatre of Pain (1982) and the extended play Deathwish (1984). He was a member of the group D.I. (1983) and performed on the studio recordings Ancient Artifacts (1985) and Horse Bites Dog Cries (1986). Agnew launched a solo career with the studio album All by Myself (1982), followed by the studio recordings Emotional Vomit (1990) and Turtle (1992). He performed with 45 Grave (2004) and is a member of the Gitane Demone Quartet.
