Rex Owusu Marfo, known professionally as Rex Omar, is a Ghanaian highlife artist. He gained prominence in 1989 with his album Aware Pa, which included the track "WodÉfo Ne Hwan?". In 1992, he formed the Highlife Supergroup Nakorex with Nat Brew and Akosua Agyapong. Rex Omar later pursued a solo career, collaborating with artists such as Sony Achiba. He was nominated for a Kora Award in 2004. After Nakorex disbanded, Omar became the head of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO), advocating for stronger copyright protections. Notable songs by Rex Omar include "Obi Do Ba Abiba," "Konkonti," and "Dada Dangerous."
