Park Jin-woo, professionally known as Jinjin, is a South Korean rapper, dancer, singer, and composer born on March 15, 1996. He debuted as the leader and rapper of the popular K-pop boy group Astro on February 23, 2016, under the label Fantagio. Before his debut, Jinjin spent two years as a trainee and appeared with other Astro members in the web drama To Be Continued. Known for his charisma and musical versatility, he quickly made a name for himself as both a performer and composer within Astro. In 2021, Jinjin expanded his career by co-hosting the Dive Studios podcast Unboxing alongside Pentagonâs Kino. He also formed Astroâs second sub-unit with Rocky, debuting as the duo Jinjin & Rocky in January 2022 with their EP Restore. Following Rocky's departure from the band in early 2023, Jinjin continued his solo work and launched the JIN LAB Project, releasing a series of singles such as "Good Enough," "For Me," and "Carry On." Beyond group activities, Jinjin has contributed to Astroâs discography as a songwriter and composer, with tracks like "Bloom" and "Lights On." His recent solo releases, including a touching duet with the late Moonbin, showcase his personal artistry and dedication to his fans. In 2023, he released a new single "Wave in my heart" with Kozypop.
