Rachael Cantu, born June 8, 1981, in Orange County, California, is an American singer-songwriter. She began her career fronting Quite Satellite, an indie rock band, from 1997 through 2000. Cantu later performed solo and opened for acts like The Get Up Kids. In 2006, she released her debut album Run All Night under Q Division Records, which received critical acclaim. She toured extensively across North America to promote the album. Notable collaborations included an appearance by Tegan Quin of Tegan and Sara as a backing vocalist on "Saturday". Her song "Devil's Thunder" was featured on ABCâs Private Practice in January 2009. In November 2009, she released her second studio album, Far and Wide. Cantu also contributed music to various TV shows including Pretty Little Liars.
