Qusai Kheder, born May 21, 1978, in Riyadh and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a rapper who pioneered professional hip hop in the Middle East. He began performing at age 15 and moved to the U.S. in 1996 to attend college, releasing music under the name Don Legend with Eyesomnia Productions. Returning to Saudi Arabia in 2005, Kheder signed with Platinum Records and released his debut album Don Legend the Kamelion in 2008, which sold over 20,000 copies and topped regional charts. His subsequent albums, Experimental Edutainment (2010) and The Inevitable Change (2012), also achieved chart success. Notable singles include "The Wedding" and "Mother," which reached Number 1 on various regional charts. Kheder's television career includes hosting MTV Arabia's Hip Hop Na and MBC1's Arabs Got Talent. He won the Esquire Man At His Best Award for Hip Hop in 2017, continuing to perform globally through 2024.
