Biography

Born in 1991 in Antibes, in the Alpes-Maritimes region of France, Quincy's first passion was basketball, before he discovered rap thanks to Sniper and Fonky Family records his father and sisters listened to. He came to prominence in 2013 with a debut mixtape entitled La Mèche Blonde, in reference to the one he sports on his head, which recorded the participation of Still Fresh and S.Pri Noir. His second-degree, unfiltered lyrics quickly made the Nouvelle École-produced rapper one of the rising stars of the French rap scene. Signed to the Arista label, he released a 6-track EP called Point G, featuring humorous tracks such as "Bouge tes bourrelets " and "Mon pote est une pince". In July 2016, Quincy unveils the single "On fait pas semblant", preceding by a few weeks the track "Indépendant", which puts Quincy back in the spotlight with its almost pop chorus, whose production signed Biggie Jo puts him in the zeitgeist, close to rappers such as Booba or PNL.
