Biography
Qiao Renliang, born on October 15, 1987, in Shanghai, China, was a singer and actor. Before his music career, he was a track and field athlete specializing in high jump events. Qiao's breakthrough came when he participated in the second season of My Hero in 2007, finishing as the runner-up. He released his first EP, Start Today, in 2008, which ranked top ten on the China Album Sales Chart. His subsequent albums include The Lovely You (2009), Diamond (2009), Pin.K (2012), and Excellent (2014). Qiao also starred in various movies and television series. On September 16, 2016, he was found dead in his Shanghai apartment; the cause of death was confirmed as suicide due to depression. Posthumously, Warner Music China released his album KIMI on December 10, 2016.
