Biography
Proc Fiskal is the stage name of Joe Powers, a Scottish electronic music producer and DJ from Edinburgh, known for his innovative, experimental club sounds. His futuristic electronic music, rooted in British underground rhythms, is a crossroads between grime, IDM, jungle, footwork, UK bass, dubstep and electronica. Signed to the Hyperdub label, Proc Fiskal produced the EPs The Highland Mob (2017) and Hello Boss (2018), followed by the album Insula (June 2018), giving a glimpse of his broad musical palette. He followed this up with the EPs Shleekit Doss (2019) and Lothian Buses (2021), then the album Siren Spine Sysex (September 2021). This was followed by the Rt Hon (2023), Canticle Hardposte (2025) and Exchequer (2026) EPs.
