Biography
Launched in 1983 with the song "J'aurai l'air de quoi", Philippe Cataldo made his mark in 1986 with "Les Divas du dancing". Although only eighth in the sacrosanct Top 50, this song remains for many one of the symbols of the madness of the 1980s in France. Philippe Cataldo took little advantage of this boom period and disappeared from the radar in 1989. He only re-emerged in 2007 on the RFM Party 80 tour. Although he never released an album, "Les Divas du dancing" appears on all the good compilations devoted to the 1980s.
