PERC%NT (real name Byun Young-soo, born June 21, 1991, in the United States) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, composer, and producer known for his distinctive musical style and refined artistry. A versatile talent, PERC%NT crafts songs that blend emotional depth with modern sophistication, showcasing his strength in lyrics, composition, arrangement, and production. He gained early recognition through MYSTIC Entertainment’s music platform LISTEN, where he released self-written tracks such as “Weekend,” “Snowball,” and “Petal Fortune,” as well as his acclaimed arrangement of Red Velvet’s “Dumb Dumb.” In 2018, PERC%NT was selected as the first "super rookie" of NAVER’s Hidden Track No.V, further solidifying his rising status. His appearance on MBC every1’s The Creative Spirit spotlighted his creative process and unique sonic identity.
