Biography

Paolo Renosto, born on October 10, 1935, in Florence, Italy, was a composer, conductor, and pianist. He studied at a conservatory in Florence under Roberto Lupi. Early in his career, he collaborated with Bruno Maderna, who conducted the world premieres of "Forma op.7" (1968) and "Nacht" (1969). Renosto's compositions included symphonic, choral, chamber, solo, and incidental music. He also worked as a musical critic and historian, hosting radio programs for RAI. Notable albums include Antica Miscellanea 2 (1972) and Cronos (1975). Renosto taught at the Bologna Conservatory. He passed away on February 10, 1988.
