Edmond Etien Huszar, known professionally as Overwerk, was born on September 6, 1989, in London, Ontario, Canada. He is a Canadian DJ and music producer. He started his career in 2010. Overwerk released early EPs such as The Nth º (2011) and After Hours (2012). His music blended electro house and complextro elements with dramatic orchestral passages and intricate synths. He gained recognition with the single "Exist" (2014), which received a perfect score from Beatsmedia and was featured in Vibe magazine. Huszar collaborated with artists like Nick Nikon and released a remix of Clean Bandit's "Rather Be". He toured extensively across North America and Europe, opening for acts like Avicii, and his music was featured in advertisements for brands such as GoPro and Gucci. In 2014, Overwerk won the New Canadian Music Vista Prize. He also released the albums State (2017) and Vessel (2021).
