Biography
MC Magal, born Wesley Fernandes Nunes in São Paulo in 1999, is a Brazilian funk singer from the Favela da Reciclagem community in CarapicuÃba, São Paulo. His recorded catalogue became visible in 2018 with singles such as âCasal Bonnie e Clydeâ and âMoleque Guerreiro,â followed in 2019 by âIlhabelaâ and the collaborative single âAventura Noturna,â recorded with Perera DJ and MC Menor da VG and featuring MC Davi, MC Don Juan and MC Kevin. In 2020, MC Magal appeared on âSet Dj Gm 2.0â with MC Paulin da Capital, MC Lipi, MC Lele JP and others, and released âOlho Gordoâ with MC Ryan SP. He continued in 2021 on âGiro dos Artistasâ with Mc Bruninho da Praia, Mc Kevin, Mc IG, MC GP and DJ Oreia, then released his first full-length project, Predestinado ao Sucesso, in 2022 through GR6 Music. The album/DVD was recorded in his home community before an estimated crowd of 3,000 people and featured MC GP, MC Cassiano, MC Kadu, MC Kanhoto, MC Leozinho ZS, JhowJhow, MC Neguin da VL and Aaron Modesto. MC Magal followed with Frenético and Frequência in 2024, then Frenético 2.0 with Gustavo Martins in 2025. That same year, he joined Aaron Modesto, MC Meno K and DJ Glenner on âPra Não Esquecer De Mim,â a GR6 Music single that entered a global chart in 2026 and became his most widely documented breakthrough.
