Massaru, born Mário Massaru on April 8, 1999, in Jardim Brasil, São Paulo, is a Brazilian rapper and singer-songwriter known for his unique blend of trap, funk, and anime-inspired aesthetics. He began his musical journey in 2018 with the mixtape Shuriken, followed by Kai in 2020, which featured the standout track "Marcha." His breakout came with the 2020 single "Moda," a viral hit that amassed over 13 million streams and became a TikTok sensation, leading to sequels "Moda 2" and "Moda 3." In 2021, Massaru released the EP M, showcasing his versatility with tracks like "HAHA" and collaborations with artists such as Igão and Yunk Vino.
