Biography

Only Boys Aloud, a Welsh male voice choir, was founded in May 2010 by choral director Tim Rhys-Evans. The group originated from an event where Rhys-Evans brought boys to sing with Only Men Aloud at the National Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale. In March 2012, the choir auditioned for Britain's Got Talent, performing "Calon Lân" and finishing third. Following their success, they signed a record deal with Relentless Records – Sony Music and released their self-titled debut album Only Boys Aloud in November 2012. The album featured "Calon Lân", which reached number 1 on the iTunes classical singles chart. In 2018, they released an album entitled A New Generation.
