Biography
Founded in Seoul, South Korea in 2021, OMEGA X is a South Korean male idol group, consisting of members Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk and Yechan, who had previously performed in other groups. OMEGA X made their debut on June 30, 2021 with the release of their single âVamosâ followed by a mini album of the same name, followed by the album Whatâs Going On, on September 6, 2021. On January 5, 2022, the group released the EP Love Me Like which peaked at number 2 on the Circle charts, with the group awarded Rookie of the Year at the 2022 Seoul Music Awards. The groupâs next single âPlay Dumbâ from the album Story Written in Music was released on June 15, 2022, signing with label Tokuma Shoten two months later. OMEGA X made their Japanese debut with the mini album Stand Up!, on August 24, 2022, peaking at number 12 on the Oricon Albums Chart. Their second Japanese EP To. released on November 13, 2024.
