Biography
Born in Geneva to Burundian and Congolese parents, Ocevne discovered her passion for music as a teenager, sharing covers from her bedroom. In 2018, her cover of a Dadju track changed her life: spotted by Barak Adama, she joined the H24 label. She followed this up with two debut EPs,"Mwanzo" and"Moyo Wazi" (2020), affirming her R&B style. In 2022, she released Wingu, a mature project. With over 100,000 subscribers and nearly eight million views, she became a rising phenomenon. In March 2024, she unveiled her debut album Nishati, celebrating authenticity, women and independence. Praised by Dadju and Tayc, she seduced the French-speaking world, selling out her first Paris concert in a week.
