Biography
A coupé-décalé singer, choreographer, songwriter and composer, Obam's, real name Yves Fabien Mondo, was born on April 2, 1993 in Koumassi, Côte d'Ivoire. At the age of twelve, he proved to be an excellent dancer, appearing wherever he could, from bars to weddings. In his final year of high school, he dropped out of school to devote himself to dance, and was spotted by Imilo le Chanceux, a Burkinabe artist who hired him as a choreographer, following several artists on stage, including DJ Arafat. His first productions went unnoticed, but in 2019 he released the video "On force pas", which went viral and racked up almost 9 million views. The artist has released several successful singles, including "C'est doux" (2020), "Beyonce" (2021), "Rein" (2022), and "Abidjan " (2023).
