Nylon Chen, born Chen on May 20, 1981, in Taipei, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese singer and actor. Before his music career, Nylon Chen appeared in various television dramas, including Honey and Clover in 2008 and Happy Dandelion in 2011. His debut album, Paradise, was released in 2009, under Believe In Music. The album peaked at number 4 on the G-Music Charts in its first week and reached number 3 the following week. Nylon Chen's second album, Same Species (å種ç°é¡), was released on July 7, 2012, under Rock Records, debuting at number 4 on the G-Music Charts. He also composed original soundtracks for television dramas such as K.O.3an Guo and Happy Dandelion, and advertisement songs like "Jasmine Tea" (èèè¶å) for the Taiwanese girl-group S.H.E. Nylon Chen held concerts to promote his albums, including One Man Nakashi (ä¸å人çé£å¡è¥¿) on October 13, 2012, at the Legacy Taipei concert.
