Biography
NouerA, a South Korean boy band formed through the reality competition Make Mate 1, is managed by Nouer Entertainment and consists of seven members: Gihyeon, Junpyo, Hyunjun, Yuseop, Lin, Fan, and Miraku. The group's name, a blend of the French words 'nouer' (to tie together) and 'era,' reflects their ambition to transcend barriers through music. After competing among 36 contestants, these top seven were announced in the finale aired on July 17, 2024. NouerA was officially formed on August 5 and signed with Nouer Entertainment shortly thereafter. They debuted on February 26, 2025, with the EP Chapter: New Is Now. Prior to this, they engaged with fans through events in Japan and a concert in Busan. They were also featured at the Music Bank Global Festival in Japan and recognized as the "2025 K-pop Rookie" by Billboard. Their pre-debut single "Infinity" was released globally on December 14, 2024.
