Nocte Obducta is a German avant-garde black metal band formed in 1993 in Germany. The group was established under the name Desîhra and consists of Marcel Breuer, Torsten Hirsch, Stefan Draghkar, Heidig, and Malte Schmidt. Their early recordings include the demo Doch lächeln die blutleeren Lippen (1998). Their discography includes the albums Lethe â Gottverreckte Finsternis (1999), Taverne â In Schatten schäbiger Spelunken (2000), and Sequenzen einer Wanderung (2008). The ensemble became inactive in 2006 before resuming activity in 2010. Subsequent releases include the albums Verderbnis â Der Schnitter kratzt an jeder Tür (2011), Umbriel (Das Schweigen zwischen den Sternen) (2013), and Totholz (Ein Raunen aus dem Klammwald) (2017). Their recordings include the albums Irrlicht (Es schlägt dem Mond ein kaltes Herz) (2020) and Hammergeddon 666 (2024).
