Nalin & Kane is a German electronic music project that was founded in Germany in 1993 and consists of the producers Andry Nalin (born May 14, 1969 in Germany; legal name Andreas Bialek) and Harry Kane (born November 21, 1966 in Germany; legal name Ralf Beck). From the outset, the duo worked as a producer and remix team in the house and trance sector, using various pseudonyms such as Nalin Inc. and Yellow Cab. In 1994, they released their first 12-inch single "Planet Orange" and in 1995 founded their own label, Superfly Records, which released their first own releases such as "The K-People" and "Backfire". The international breakthrough came in mid-1997 with the single "Beachball", which entered the charts in several countries and became one of the most listened to Ibiza tracks in the summer. Singles such as "Talkin' About" (1997) and "Open Your Eyes" (1999) followed. The album The Remixes was released in 2001. The duo also produced remixes for other artists, including Kylie Minogue and Jam & Spoon, thus shaping the electronic dance scene of the 1990s in Germany and Europe. Further single releases and reissues of their classic tracks such as "Beachball 2003" and "Beachball 2010" appeared in the 2000s.
