Nahide Babashlı, born 24 September 1996 in Baku, Azerbaijan, is an Azerbaijani singer and lyricist whose early exposure to music began while studying physics at Baku State University. She gained initial recognition in 2018 by posting a YouTube cover of âMy Side of the Moonâ, which attracted widespread online support. Her debut single, âBenim Hikayemâ, released 15 November 2019, introduced her to the Turkish pop scene, followed by the singles âKorkma Söyleâ and âÅaheserâ. In 2022 she released the track âUnuttun mu Beniâ, and in 2024 she released the single âSöz Verdimâ, further expanding her presence in pop music. Babashlıâs career was highlighted by the Pantene Golden Butterfly award, marking her as a young star in Azerbaijanâs contemporary music landscape.
