Biography

Musubizm, a Japanese idol group formed in December 2014, comprised six fashion models—Misa Kimura, Uni Wada, Eru Shiina, Nami Yamada, Mai Imai, and Rurika Miyajima—who were selected through the Asobisystem Idol Project; Uni Wada departed on 2015‑04‑30. The group debuted with the single "Mae wo Muke" on 2016‑07‑05, following the release of the EP マエヲムケ! (銀盤) on 2016‑07‑04, and the single "Mahō no Kagi wo Te ni Iretara" on 2016‑11‑15. Their debut single entered the Oricon weekly singles chart at Number 45, marking a notable entry for a newcomer idol act. In 2017, Musubizm expanded its discography with the EPs キミに夢CHU♡XX【B盤】 and キミに夢CHU♡XX on 2017‑06‑27, and the single "Koi no Senshi" on 2017‑11‑21, the latter peaking at Number 38 on the Oricon weekly singles chart and receiving a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2018 Japan Record Awards. The group performed at major venues, including WWW in Shibuya on 2016‑12‑19, Harajuku Astro Hall on 2017‑03‑31 and 2017‑05‑31, and concluded with a final concert at Selene B2 in Minato on 2017‑12‑10, the day of disbandment. Musubizm disbanded on 2017‑12‑10, leaving a concise yet memorable footprint in the J‑pop idol scene.
