Musubizm, a Japanese idol group formed in December 2014, comprised six fashion modelsâMisa Kimura, Uniâ¯Wada, Eruâ¯Shiina, Namiâ¯Yamada, Maiâ¯Imai, and Rurikaâ¯Miyajimaâwho were selected through the Asobisystem Idol Project; Uniâ¯Wada departed on 2015â04â30. The group debuted with the single "Mae wo Muke" on 2016â07â05, following the release of the EP ãã¨ã²ã ã±! (éç¤) on 2016â07â04, and the single "MahÅ no Kagi wo Te ni Iretara" on 2016â11â15. Their debut single entered the Oricon weekly singles chart at Number 45, marking a notable entry for a newcomer idol act. In 2017, Musubizm expanded its discography with the EPs ããã«å¤¢CHUâ¡XXãBç¤ã and ããã«å¤¢CHUâ¡XX on 2017â06â27, and the single "Koi no Senshi" on 2017â11â21, the latter peaking at Number 38 on the Oricon weekly singles chart and receiving a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2018 Japan Record Awards. The group performed at major venues, including WWW in Shibuya on 2016â12â19, Harajuku Astro Hall on 2017â03â31 and 2017â05â31, and concluded with a final concert at Selene B2 in Minato on 2017â12â10, the day of disbandment. Musubizm disbanded on 2017â12â10, leaving a concise yet memorable footprint in the Jâpop idol scene.
