Biography
Musica Diablo, a thrash metal band from São Paulo, Brazil, was founded in 2008 by guitarist Andre NM. The group initially played weekly gigs covering songs by Kreator, Nuclear Assault, and Municipal Waste while developing their own material. In late 2008, they recorded demo tracks and began searching for a vocalist, which was filled by Derrick Green, singer of Sepultura and friend of Andre NM. By mid-2009, Musica Diablo had completed 15 original songs, and André Curci was added as a second guitarist. In January 2010, under producer Rafael Ramos, the band recorded their debut album in Rio de Janeiro, with Green's vocals added later in São Paulo. The self-titled Musica Diablo album was released in May 2010, via SAOL/HâArt/Zebralution.
