The two US influencers and musicians Mufasa & Hypeman became known through the song "Friday" by English DJ Riton. The musician became aware of the two on the YouTube platform. They had published a video there in which Mufasa sings to the MK remix of the song "Push The Feeling On" and also dances next to the moving car that Hypeman is driving. The video went viral and the two became famous worldwide. This is how Riton was inspired to create his track "Friday" in collaboration with Mufasa & Hypeman. The song reached 4th place in Germany, 7th place in Austria and 6th place in Switzerland. "Friday" was a worldwide success and climbed to 4th place in the UK charts and 5th place in the US Hot Dance/Electronic Songs. In summer 2021, Mufasa & Hypeman released the single "Weekend" together with DJ Kollektiv Dopamine. The song is based on the hit "Holiday" by Madonna. According to Mufasa, the song is a tribute to the pop singer Madonna.
