Mustafa GündoÄdu, born 2 October 1966 in Hagen, Germany, is a GermanâTurkish DJ, record producer and film music composer who performs under the name Mousseâ¯T. He began learning music at age 13 and first worked as a keyboardist in 1990 before adopting the moniker Mousseâ¯T. in 1994 and establishing his own studio in Hannover. His early output included the 1996 Mousseâ¯T.â¯EP and the 1997 single "Horny / Bad Boy", which introduced his signature house sound. In 1998, the single "Horny '98" featuring Hotâ¯'n'â¯Juicy and Inaya Day reached Number one on the Billboard Dance chart and entered the top 20 in the United Kingdom and Australia. Subsequent albums-Gourmet De Funk (2002), All Nite Madness (2004), Right About Now (2005), and Fire (2011)-displayed a blend of electronic and funk elements, while collaborations with artists such as Tomâ¯Jones on "Sex Bomb" (1999) and Tarkan (2006) broadened his appeal. Mousseâ¯T. served as a judge on Deutschlandâ¯suchtâ¯denâ¯Superstar seasonâ¯15 in 2018, and his work earned a Number one ranking on Traxsourceâs Top House Artists list in 2020.
