Morricone Youth, a band from New York City formed in 1999, was dedicated to composing and performing music for moving images. Their early releases include Magnum Force (2003) and Silenzio Violento (2005), both under Country Club Records. Morricone Youth was known for performing original music to projected films in live settings, with notable performances including Jean Rollin's Fascination, David Lynch's Eraserhead, and George Miller's Mad Max. Subsequent albums include Mad Max (2017), Sunrise: A Song Of Two Humans (2017), and Danger: Diabolik (2018). The band has also released vinyl LPs and EPs for their live scores, such as The Adventures of Prince Achmed (2016) and Night of the Living Dead (2016). Morricone Youth has performed at venues like the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Philadelphia Museum of Art and supported Italian prog soundtrack legends Goblin on their North American tour in 2017.
