Momoland, a South Korean girl group formed in Seoul on 2016â11â10, debuted through the reality show Finding Momoland with members Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, Nancy, and Yeonwoo. Their first release, the EP Welcome to Momoland, arrived on 2016â11â10, featuring the single "Jjan! Koong! Kwang!". In 2017 Daisy and Taeha joined, expanding the lineup, and the group released Wonderful Love and Freeze! that year. The 2018 breakthrough came with the single "Bboom Bboom" from the EP Fun to the World, which earned a Platinum certification on Gaon for streaming. Subsequent releases included Show Me (2019), Thumbs Up (2019), and Ready or Not (2020), the last one featuring lyricist Psy. The group signed with ICM Partners in 2020 and released the English single "Yummy Yummy Love" (2022) in collaboration with Natti Natasha, earning a nomination at the Latin American Juventud Awards. After contract expirations, Momoland disbanded on 2023â02â14. The members later reunited under Inyeon Entertainment in 2025, releasing the remix album Festivaland (2025â06â30) and the digital single "Rodeo" (2025â09â08). The groupâs legacy includes multiple chartâtopping releases, international tours, and philanthropic engagements, such as ambassadorships for Plan Korea and the Korean Red Cross. The single "white spring," released on January 23, 2026, entered Melon's Top 500 Melon domestic chart at rank 11 the next day.
