Biography
Mimori Yusa, born éä½æªæ£® on February 20, 1964, in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She began her career at the age of six, appearing on the TV program Chibikko Nodojiman, where she recited the Takibinursery rhyme. After graduating from college, Yusa recorded a demo and signed with Epic/Sony Records in 1987, marking the start of her music career. Yusaâs debut album ç³æ°´æ¶ was released in April 1988, followed by ãã«ã¢ããªããªã³ in 1989 and momoism in 1993. Throughout the 1990s, she released several albums including HOPE (1990) and later joined the supergroup Love, Peace & Trance, alongside Mishio Ogawa, Miyako Koda from Dip in the Pool, and Haruomi Hosono. Her song "Kuro" gained significant popularity when it was featured on the NHK television program Minna no Uta from December 2005 to January 2006. Yusa continued to expand her discography with works such as Still Life (2001), éæ²³æå¸ (2009), TRAVELOGUE sweet and bitter collection (2002), and æ½®é¨ (2021).
